RAs the capstone event for SABW, the Closing Ceremonies will conclude the week in style. It's a beer festival-style get together that showcases all of the amazing San Antonio area breweries in one location. This year's Closing Ceremonies will be hosted at the Pearl Brewery. The beers being poured will all be from your local breweries in San Antonio and the surrounding area, and they'll be bringing their best, most creative beers in addition to the 2015 SABW Collaboration Beer. The admission price will get you six 4 oz sample tickets to redeem for the beers of your choice, plus a commemorative SABW 2015 tasting cup. Additional sample tickets will be available for purchase onsite. Live music will be provided by the Pearl, and food will be available for purchase from local brewpubs and Pearl restaurants. General admission runs from 3:00-7:00 pm. 

A limited number of VIP tickets will also be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. VIP attendees will be hosted at Southerleigh Fine Food & Brewery and receive a special VIP commemorative tasting glass. You will get early access to the festival at 2:00 pm and have special beers tapped, plus VIP snacks provided by Southerleigh. VIPs will also have access to Southerleigh's restrooms and be able to attend an educational panel discussion about craft beer that features brewers and owners from your local breweries.

Busted Sandal Brewing will host a special Lafitte’s Blacksmith Shop theme party. A new beer will be launched… “Lafitte's Reserve” is a strong dark ale, black as night, aged in rum-soaked oak and Madagascar vanilla beans. The brewery will transform into a lights-out venue with candles, piano player, and attendees must come in costume. Attire can be one of the following: clothing of the late 1700’s era, pirate costume, or New Orleans style Masquerade. The brewery will also feature paired specialty cheeses and cured meats along with servings of our other beers. Attendance will be limited to the first 100 attendees and cost will be $30 per person. Event tickets will be sold on Eventbrite.com.

Join us as we tap into our original barrel aging program at the pub, along with a few funky guest brews, including Austin's own Jester King Brewery. We will also have brewers on hand for a Q&A session at 3pm. 

Oskar Blues Brewery - South and Breckenridge Brewery of Colorado bring you their first annual Beer Olympics. Details to come, but if you're coming, come thirsty..and athletic-y.

This event will feature 3 breweries for tap takeovers. Wild Bunch Brewery, Independence Brewery and Pedernales Brewery. This will be a meet, greet and taste with local award winning breweries as they unite to share & talk about their passion. Random Beer Garden also has some of the best food trucks around so you wont go hungry! Bring the entire family because Random is an outdoor beer garden and we do have a monster bounce for the kids!

Come join us for a special version of our monthly tour and tasting. We will have Woodcutter Rye IPA, Shady Oak Honey Blonde, Evil Owl Amber, and a couple small batch limited beers available. $15 will get you a SABW special edition glass and 4 fills. Please feel free to bring your own folding chairs as we will have limited space. We will have food on site as well, so be sure and come hungry. Events will happen rain or shine, and are kid/dog friendly.

Strange Land Brewing will be in the house with 4 of their awesome beers and some of their homemade pickles and honey So GS has decided to put all of it together, include some Texas meat and cheese and make it a party. Charcuterie will be limited so first come first served. Price includes Charcuterie plate and flight of 4 Strange Land Brews.

GS1221 and Southerleigh have teamed up to give back. 100% of the profits from all Southerleigh brews purchased on the 27th will be going towards the Silver and Black Give Back. So come watch the Spurs game on our huge outdoor screen, drink some great local craft beer and help give back to our beautiful community!

We are celebrating San Antonio Beer Week all week long from 3/21-3/29. We are honored to be a part of it and will be hosting a "Beer Garden" night on Friday 3/27 from 6-9pm. $10 reserve tickets through eventbrite gets you a sample glass and 5 drink tickets.
