Celebrate Friday the 13th with hilarious frights while watching the worst scary movie we can find on our outdoor patio!
In honor of San Antonio Beer Week, we'll also be having the brewery release of our new 12% abv Bourbon Barrel Russian Imperial Stout. Dress up in your best scary costume for a chance to win a brewstillery prize pack.
We'll have a food truck on site and movie snacks for purchase. Doors at 5:00, costume contest at 7:00, movie at sundown (around 8:00). No RSVP required, just come on out, and feel free to bring your lawn chair.
As part of San Antonio Beer Week 2018, join Cinema on Tap to celebrate independent film and craft beer! There will be a free screening of DRINKING BUDDIES, an indie comedy set in the world of craft beer. We will also be featuring short films from San Antonio filmmaker Sam Lerma.
Women of the craft beer industry will be especially highlighted at this event as Anna Luna, Owner and Operator of Guadalupe Brewing Company will be in attendance as well as Ashley O'Dell, General Manager of Big Hops the Bridge and Laura Bustos, co-founder of Cinema on Tap. All women are encouraged to join us!

Home Grown beer dinner isn’t your typical food and beer experience. With a growing number of San Antonians partaking in healthier eating habits. Freetail Brewing has proudly teamed up with La Botanica to host our very first all vegan beer dinner. This delicious family style dinner will feature 4 courses of traditional Tex-Mex meals prepared by Chef Rebel Madiposa. Freetail’s very own head brewer and long time vegetarian, Jason Davis will be on hand to pair some familiar Freetail beers with each course.

We're teaming up with our fellow brewers at Ranger Creek and morphing their beers with ours to create some brand new, mouth watering concoctions. We'll have a special beer menu at the Freetail pub featuring pints of different beer blends of at least 1 Ranger Creek beer and 1 Freetail beer. It might be a blend of Love Struck Hefe and Soul Doubt IPA or S.A. Lager and Clothed in Velvet Stout for an S.A. black and tan. The ratios and blends will be tirelessly tasted and tested by the brewers, so rest assured of their tastiness. With our powers combined we are delicious!
Kiss our Small batches goodbye! We will be releasing one of the last Small batches, this barrel aged brew was the La Bestia Aimable Belgian-style dark strong ale with Texas honey (seasonal). We have now barrel aged this brew to a mouth watering sour and added Figs! San Antonio Lager (Munich Helles) Mission Trail (extra pale ale) and Sunday Morning Coming Down (British strong ale with Local coffee cold brew) will also be tapped to really get down on tasting great local brews at this San Antonio Beer week experience!

Enjoy a special tapping and limited release of the Bourbon Barred Russian Imperial Stout, San Antonio Lager (Gold Medal, Munich Helles) and new core brew Mission Trail (extra pale ale).
The Wednesday of San Antonio Beer Week, UTSA’s Institute of Texan Cultures is hosting SABW for a special late showing of the “Brewing Up Texas” exhibit. Come stroll through the history of Texas brewing from the 1840s to today’s craft beer boom. There will be a special showcase of the SA Beer Week Collaboration Brew brewed with input from multiple local breweries at Dorćol Distilling+Brewing’s High Wheel Beerworks. This year, the brewers created an 8-hop variety IPA to commemorate the 8th annual San Antonio Beer Week. Come down and enjoy this limited release beer and see an intriguing exhibit guest curated by local journalist and beer writer Travis E. Poling.

Ranger Creek Brewing and Distilling will have the their new core brew Mission Trail extra pale ale (tropical, fruitful light bodied brew that allows you to taste the hop profile without the bitterness) San Antonio Lager (Munich Helles that won a Gold medal at the World beer championships in Munich last year) and well aged Bourbon Barrel Wheat Wine (one of the last bombers of this special bourbon barrel aged brew bottled in 2017). We are celebrating San Antonio Beer Week with our Annual Pub & Brewery Tour! We load up our Blue Bird Bus and travel to 4 different breweries where you'll take a tour with the brew masters and enjoy flights of their crafted beers. Making a return from last year's beer week, its our B.Y.O.B. (Build Your Own Beer) day. Ever wanted to try one of our IPAs with Cap'N Crunch Berries? Or one of our stouts with chilis and cacao nibs, or a pint of Pale Ale with a scoop of fresh, fragrant, whole leaf hops? Of course! We'll have all kinds of fixins you can add to your beer to create a personal pint just for you. Or leave the creativity to our brewers and try some of their scrupulously tested creations like "Fruity Ruby" our La Rubia blonde ale steeped with Fruity Pebbles. The event will run all day from open to close. Not all items may be available towards the end of the day. Our brewer selected beer creations will range from 5-6$. Fixins range from 0.25 cents to 1$ to add to any beer individually
It’s time for San Antonio Beer Week 2018! Join us on Saturday, April 7, as we kick-off San Antonio Beer Week with another party downtown at Main Plaza. Live music, beer, food trucks, games, and a great view of The Saga light show projected onto the San Fernando Cathedral to wrap up the night. The event is open to the public but drink tickets must be purchased for beer. We will be pouring beers from over 12 local breweries as well as tapping our San Antonio Beer Week collaboration beer! This years collaboration beer is a delicious IPA with 8 different hops to celebrate this being the 8th anniversary of beer week.
Food trucks will be announced soon.

The run starts and finishes at Alamo Beer Company and follows the neighborhood streets surrounding the brewery, including running over the Hayes Street Bridge with great views of downtown. Run with a fiercely independent spirit!

All runners receive a 4x 8oz beer tasting with finisher glass, tech shirt and awesome awards.
